When GP Graders was named the 2014 Australian Exporter of the Year its founder Geoff Payne almost fell off his chair.

Geoff, who established a small manufacturing and grading packaging machinery business in Victoria more than 50 years ago, never dreamed the company would reach such dizzy heights.

A Victoria-based company whose cherry and grape tomato sorting systems are used around the world has won the prestigious Australian Exporter of the Year award. GP Graders ward

On accepting the award, GP Graders director Stuart Payne said the award was a great honor and testimony to his team’s hard work put innto product innovation and customer service.

GP Graders awarded Australian Exporter of the Year
Trade and Investment Minister Andrew Robb announced GP Graders as the winner of the 2014 Australian Exporter of the year award.

Speaking at the awards ceremony on November 27th Mr Robb said: “Exporter of the year, GP Graders – from my home-state of Victoria – should be especially proud of the innovation and imagination they’ve demonstrated, in order to capture international attention for their machinery products.”
