Cherries on ABC’s Landline Program

Recently, on ABC’s ‘Landline’ program, there was a fantastic article on the Australian cherry industry.

Featuring growers from the Young and Orange growing regions, the piece offers excellent insights into the industry from new operators, right through to highly experienced veterans of the game.

One of our long-standing customers, Fiona Hall of the BiteRiot brand in Orange, shares some valuable advice and is promoting the idea of extending consumer desire beyond the ‘Christmas fruit’ to be a ‘summer fruit’, given the production period is well over two months.

The cherry feature begins at 14:25 in the video.

You will need to login to the ABC’s iView site to watch but it’s free and simple and very worthwhile.
