No More Manual Sorting

Where traditionally, you may have needed a small army to sort and count your oyster harvest, investing in an oyster grader from GP Graders will mean the days of hiring, rostering and paying a labour force are done.

A single-lane oyster grader can require only 2 people to operate and can process up to 1,000 dozen oysters every hour, meaning significantly reduced wage costs in your business and more importantly, extra time for you to care for your precious produce.

gpVision™ can be programmed to exit shells according to the size, shape, ratio and weight grades you require. Each exit can be set to eject a count number then switch to a neighbouring exit, or held until the bag/crate/box is removed. All the operator needs to do is move containers away as they fill.

We’ve been grading produce by weight for over 4o years and analysing produce using vision systems for more than 30 years, so we know what accuracy should look like. When combining the two parameters, we’re able to offer results not seen before in the industry.

Using High Definition cameras and superior lighting gpVision™ measures length and width, ratio and shape. A dedicated load cell weighs each oyster and the combined results allows you to eject underweight product for further inspection or to waste.
