We’re proud to partner with so many exceptional agricultural businesses, enhancing the overall productivity and excellence of the fresh produce industry globally.
With Chile set to become the world’s largest exporter of cherries, it’s really no surprise that GP Graders has been there from the beginning. We have been actively involved with the Chilean cherry industry since 2001, 23 years ago. In 2001 we shipped our first Australian-built machine to Curico and in 2014 we set up our local office and support network to service the many machines that began running in the subsequent years. Last year we assembled our first complete line in Chile and this year we are doing the same, with a view to expanding our manufacturing capacity there.
gpVision™ was officially launched in Australia in 2018 and over the last few years has been rolled out across all new machine builds and upgrades to existing chassis. The results being achieved are second to none, making the case to transfer to a superior technology platform that ultimately transforms packing operations for growers of cherries, blueberries, stone fruits and snack tomatoes.
With the addition of MultiView™ cameras, we have removed the need for manual sorting with our customers having removed people along their sorting tables. It’s safe to say, we’ve achieved the goal we set out to accomplish.
Since the word has gotten out about just how remarkable gpVision™ is with MultiView™, things have really been heating up, particularly in Chile. We’re currently in the throws of building hundreds of components and mechanisms to upgrade most of our gpVision™ customers with MultiView™ before the 24/25 cherry season. Add this to the release of radiai™, our Artificial Intelligence software and a suite of new supporting components such as our new high-speed auto box fillers specifically designed for 2 ½ kg boxes and it’s easy to see just how much support there is for GP Grader’s solutions in Chile.
New energy being channelled into our Chilean business is under the careful direction of our new General Manager of GP Graders Chile.
We’d like to take this opportunity to introduce… François Lovens.

We launched gpVision™ and it redefined what was possible in vision grading of fresh fruit and vegetables. Next, we took it up a level to introduce the MultiView™ camera systems that ensures 100% of the surface is scanned. And just around the corner is a new generation of capability with the impending launch of our AI grading platform, radiai™. We’re keeping a lid on it for now but let’s just say, this is going to be a very exciting time in AgriTech. Stay tuned.
