We’re proud to partner with so many exceptional agricultural businesses, enhancing the overall productivity and excellence of the fresh produce industry globally.
Our recent attendance at the Berlin edition of Fruit Logistica was a truly wonderful return to face-to-face networking and connection. Arguably the most important trade show on the horticulture industry’s calendar, this 3-day event brings together nearly 2600 exhibitors from 92 countries to present their latest products, services and innovations.
With our international partners, Milbor PMC and A&B Packing, we were able to showcase our latest technological developments and gain valuable insights into the industry’s trends and directions from the people working right there in it, at a global level.
With our Regional Country Manager from Chile, Matias Heitzer and our Design & Development Director, Timothy Stack from Melbourne, representing GP Graders, along with team members from Milbor PMC and A&B Packing, Fruit Logistica stand was well attended and welcomed a steady stream of guests to take a look at our unique ‘sanitary’ build of our Blueberry AirJet® grader. The team had the opportunity to showcase how the AirJet® grader accurately sorts blueberries into various specified quality grades and how gently fruit is handled with some unique machine design features.
Lately, we’ve been talking a lot about how easy our GUI (Graphical User Interface) is to use. With a working demo on site, the team was able to physically demonstrate just how easy it really is. Visually pleasing and intuitively laid out, visitors to the stand were shown the grading system we’ve built from the ground up over the last few years and were very impressed by its evident ease of use, beautifully displayed data and overall appealing design.
The Blueberry AirJet® grader sanitary build truly is a one-of-a-kind in its design. Tim Stack, the designerbehind this clever design, welcomed the opportunity to discuss how the design of the machine can make a huge difference in the end-of-day wash-up and overall cleanliness of a packhouse. Designed according to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, specified by code 3 – A SSI, the design of the machine is robust and sturdy, using only food-grade materials.
Our European partners, Milbor PMC, have been an incredible ally in bringing the gpVision™ technology to Europe in recent years. A relationship built on integrity and trust, their highly experienced and committed team of technicians and engineers have been installing and supporting projects in Europe with more projects on the horizon. This local service and support was an alluring proposition for European customers.
Praise was extended by both attendees and exhibitors for the event’s focus on sustainability and innovation and the increased attendance represents great support for the event and the premise of bringing businesses together to support each other through knowledge and sharing. Despite the recent year’s challenges in labor, supply chain, climate and economic retraction, the overall energy of the event was uplifting and was evident the industry as a whole remains positive.
